  1. I love the whistle in the beginning of the story! This story is definitely relatable on so many levels. Nice, clear sound. Classy.

  2. I have to agree with the other two commenters here....a very classic story.

I like the sounds you've put in so far...have you thought about adding any more?

Also, i do this too....but be careful of handling the microphone too much while you're recording, you can hear the mic being held in this piece just a little bit. (I'm sure you'll hear it in mine as well, it takes some getting used to).

  3. Hi Sam,

I remember you talking about this story in class, and how you loved the sound of moving boxes in the background as a way of transporting you back to that place of "move in".

I would encourage you to add more sounds like that to the piece. Even maybe a snippet of a party. I agree with Emily that the whistle is very nice, and the story itself is clear and relatable. I think with a little finesse this could turn out to be a very nice piece!

  5. I really like it, it's very relatable to many first year college students as well. I also enjoyed the sound effects.

  6. I agree that this is a classic piece, and for me, it's in part due to the narration. He seems very relaxed, as though he is just relating a story to his buddies. It doesn't seem overly rehearsed. I look forward to seeing the finished product!
